One thing he has going for him is that he a natural liar. He totally sells his lies, and unlike most people, there are no "tells" which reveal the lie. He straight-facedly makes up crap and seems to believe it (maybe he does believe his own lies?).
If I were in charge of Trump’s people in the audience I’d have several of them equipped with transmitters to mess up Joe’s ear piece.

Yes, if you cannot answer “no” to “Did your candidate get questions ahead of time, and have the answers on the teleprompter”, the answer clearly is “yes”.
It is also why he never takes questions on the fly.
People started voting last week in North Carolina which I find absurd. How would they address a replacement for the senile Joe they voted for?
Also, the press is essentially LYING every day when they claim Biden says someething, or does something, if it comes through the spokesperson. If a spokesperson says biden said something, they need to make it clear that they do NOT have Biden on record.
TOo many people think Biden is actually doing interviews, because it is reported as if Biden actually answered questions, and not his spokesperson.
For example, it was said that Biden “denounced” Linda Sarsour. But in fact, he never did, his spokesperson said “Of Course Biden denounces Linda”.
I saw the exchange, it was pretty brutal and happy that Brier kept on him. That is what the left does when they don’t want to answer or can defend their statements.

The number of times in Biden’s career when he has had to face a tough fighter on the right are almost nil (maybe Palin, and she was a novice then). Trump faces vicious predatory questions every day for the last four years and is on his game. My guess is Donald mops the floor with Biden. And if there is dementia in Joe, they tend to blow up with frustration when hard pressed.

I agree; I know the posts here that Trump has set expectations for Biden so low so that if he finishes the debate he will beat expectations and be the winner. I don’t see this happening; if he hasn’t got dementia, he has put on one of the greatest daily performances since the Barrymores. Sure, he gave an ok scripted convention speech but what was it - 11 minutes? He hasn’t taken questions from the adversary press like Trump does every day nor from any citizens with adverse views in months. So while I acknowledge the possibility that Biden’s debate performance could be the real October surprise. I really doubt its possible.

There is no reason it can’t be a live debate with 10 feet apart on stage. He can talk at rallies at a podium, he can do this live.

You are correct.
To have the answer to the question on the teleprompter the questions were feed to the reporters. Biden lost his list of reporters to call on and had his staff call on them for him. Why? Answer is easy. He needed the questions asked in the order the prepared answer was in the teleprompter.
Last time when asked a question he paused and then said, “bring it up.” It was obvious he meant bring up the answer on the teleprompter. It is all FAKE FAKE FAKE.
He will not debate!
