What is happening in the western wildfires is the same phenomena as took place in Australia last summer (our winter). Ecoterrorists using arson to extort a resistant citizenry into accepting further legislation and regulation that erodes their private property rights. These areas that are burning have not been allowed to be managed to remove dead growth for decades. Even service roads into the forests have been allowed to allowed to deteriorate so that it is almost impossible to reach some of the fires with equipment. Now during a cycle of drought they are a tinderbox. For comparison, check out the droughts during the late 1930s.

My first thought is Pelosi is like the pagan crones people sought out to read entrails and try to predict the future for them in place of letting God’s will prevail in His own time.

Being from South Louisiana (though no longer living there, got lotsa friends and kin there still), I keep up with hurricane season. This season has had a lot of storms, but they mostly been relatively weak. The really severe 'canes seem less than average in numbers....thus far.

I’m glad you brought that up. I don’t believe for one minute all these fires we have been suffering in California at the end of season are happenstance, lightning strikes, etc., and caused totally by nature.
