We need to stop saying Canada does not have wildfires. They do. Huge ones. They generally let them burn on the West side because extinguishing them is not a realistic option.

I can tell you this for a fact. The past few years there have been hundreds of them in Canada.

They have a different outlook on “fire” than we do and they protect rural towns and let nature do its thing.

There is little doubt that there is some climate change going on, but whatever the cause may be it is totally unrelated to human activities. Unfortunately there is very little we can change or do about it, as much as some ignorant and dumb politicians want us to believe, with fabulous Newsome being one of many ignoramuses. What you are reading may produce a condescending smile by some, not realizing what we are heading into as most people hardly ever paid any attention to historic accounts. I just hope as we are headed further into this cycle that smile or smirk will not turn into a frown. Not to mention that in anticipation of what is to come, proper forest management may have helped and perhaps alleviated some of these horrendous forest fires.

What a lot of people do not realize or even heard about including the Chinese is, that once again we are heading into another 3600 year repetitive cycles described in literature, historic accounts as well in great detail by Emanuel Velikovsky. It is the same cycle which give or take about 3520 years ago produced the TEN PLAGUES and drove the than Pharaoh nuts who eventually conceded to Moses demands and freed the Jews what went down in the annals of history as the EXODUS. From ancient Chinese historic accounts we know that about the same time China experienced very similar problems as they did in ancient Egypt such as flooding, severe storms as well as quakes etc. in other words what was taking place was on a worldwide scale, quite like what we are experiencing right now on a worldwide scale including China with more water than they know what to do with it.

As we look around on a worldwide scale all these crazy weather events seem to back this up. From an unusual heat spell in the arctic region to camels stumping around in snow in some areas in Saudi Arabia, to excessive flooding in other areas receiving several month worth of rain in just a few hours, or severe droughts in others along with an increase in quakes as well a volcanic eruptions and so far we are just partially into this cycle. As I have stated on several occasion in the past, so far the US has been relatively fortunate escaping some of these devastating events, aside from the last storm which did a number on Iowa’s crop or last years flooding in Nebraska. And I hope that our luck will continue, but I am afraid there will be more to come.. As far as The Three Gorges Dam is concerned with a little luck it may hold, short of an earthquake what is always a possibility. I for one could not sleep very well living downstream knowing that this dam is holding back a lake give or take 340 miles in length.

Well you are completely and utterly wrong. I have family that works for CALFIRE and live in the mountains and one is a retired battalion chief. I also helped manage a fishing club at Lake Shasta called Balibakka. The fire there last year at the lake and club and in Redding and that destroyed Keswick in a day just like Paradise was and is directly related to mismanagement of the forrest and not allowing PG&E to trim the forrest line back from power lines. California would not allow PG&E to increase their rates in order to pay for trimming the forrest back. Instead the forced them into paying for alternative energy. Then for the last 60 years California has ended nearly all logging and proper forest management. They nearly burned down all of Napa the last two years alone. California is not in a drought and last year was a wet year. They generally go in 10 year cycles wet to dry. The overgrown forrest made it ripe for bark beetles to begin destroying the forest with millions of dead trees adding tot he fuel.

Yes, Canada has fires as all countries do. But nothing like what we are having. They log and manage their forest and cut trees way back form power lines. The do not have the severe bark beetle problem like we have in California, Colorado, Wyoming, etc...Presently Canada has very few small fires like they always do from lightning. The west coast is burning down like Dantes Inferno from arsen, overgrowth, mismanagement, lightning, weather, all of the above, but mostly morons mismanagement of the forest.

I was ranch raised in the high sierras. Those in our family who did not work the ranch were in the timber industry.

California government has listened to the morons on the far left and mismanaged the forests and timber lands since the 1960’s.

Exactly what the professional foresters said back in the 60’s and 70’s would happen is happening right now. There predictions were/are 100% on the mark.

When we compare our forest management against that of New Zealand and northern Europe, we suck in every comparison.

They have much healthier forests, their production/harvest is almost 3 times per acre more than ours is.

Their forests are well managed, healthy, and beautiful.

All they did to get there was to implement all of the policies that our professional forest managers have been wanting to put in place for the last 5+ decades but have been stopped from doing so by the bat-shit crazy liberals out of the big cities who know nothing about the forests.

The left got their way on our forest management policies and we can all see how much of a wreck that turned out to be for our environment, timber industry, and for the jobs in the forested lands.

But, in true form of liberal mindset, they have to lie their asses off and blame it all on the conservatives who actually knew what the hell needed done to maintain healthy forests.
