DiMezzo’s positions on BLM, anarchy, sanctuary cities, and “F’ the police*” are unacceptable. (Ok, the latter is acceptable for the 1% (?) of cops who need to be given the boot.) But, it is sadly on target on several topics, most particularly the Republican establishment and far too many voters (in both parties, I should add.)
However, the behavior and comments of the head of the Cheshire County Republican Party, Marylin Huston, are even more unacceptable. She “offered congratulations”, saying
‘He did very well with the primary and that was wonderful,’ Huston said.
Anyone with even a hint of character would tender their immediate resignation and call for the replacement of the rest of the County Republican organization.
*In the unlikely event DiMezzo becomes Sheriff, taken literally... um... right. OTOH, maybe in this case “F’ the police” is actually a generous offer. /s
