From the Pennsylvania Election Code:

(c) Not less than five days preceding the election, the chief clerk shall prepare a list for each election district showing the names and post office addresses of all voting residents thereof to whom official absentee or mail-in ballots shall have been issued. Each such list shall be prepared in duplicate, shall be headed "Persons in (give identity of election district) to whom absentee or mail-in ballots have been issued for the election of (date of election)," and shall be signed by him not less than four days preceding the election.

He shall post the original of each such list in a conspicuous place in the office of the county election board and see that it is kept so posted until the close of the polls on election day. He shall cause the duplicate of each such list to be delivered to the judge of election in the election district in the same manner and at the same time as are provided in this act for the delivery of other election supplies, and it shall be the duty of such judge of election to post such duplicate list in a conspicuous place within the polling place of his district and see that it is kept so posted throughout the time that the polls are open. Upon written request, he shall furnish a copy of such list to any candidate or party county chairman.

So a list of all voters who received absentee ballots must be made publicly available. That's ripe for Vote Harvesting, and for voter suppression if you target the opposing party's voters, volunteer to "drop off" their ballot for them, then conveniently lose the ballot.

There are no “democratic” elections anywhere in the world that this would be allowed.

***********

I’m not sure we qualify as a functioning democracy anymore. Our myriad voting processes are becoming an uncontrolled free for all.

Are these being counted by hand? Look at how long it took counties in FL in 2000 to be counted by hand.

Yes they have. A mere two years ago, our election bureau (Westmoreland County) was called to task by the state Democrat party for allowing seniors to request absentee ballots when they didn't certified disability or work assignment which would prevent them from going to the polls in person.

The dims obviously subscribe to the old “snake oil” creed: “It’s my job to screw you, and it’s your job to see that I don’t.”

Not being able to verify signatures will end up being widespread.

Back when real ID cr@p was being halfheartedly being instituted they required everyone to sign documents using full name on our birth certificate. The fact that I never had signed my full name anywhere because it was misspelled on my birth certificate didn't matter so my signature doesn't look anything like something I signed. I would be happy to include a thumbprint on ballot that can be matched with DMV records. Most states I think require that anymore.

When it comes to something like weights and measures or voting, the rule should always be; “STANDARDIZE,STANDARDIZE,STANDARDIZE”!

For at least the last 70 years we have needed a standardized ballot and voting regulations at the Federal level that pertain to ALL STATES and TERRITORIES.

Enough of this weird bullshit of changing the ballot format every year for every municipal election, state election, and federal election.

ONE STANDARD BALLOT format for all elections; a ballot is nothing but a list of candidates and new laws or regulations to vote yes or no on.

It is the CITIZENS RESPONSIBILITY TO BE AWARE of and KNOWLEDGEABLE of the current legislation and candidates.

LEGAL VOTER ID required to vote in ANY election at any level; Mandatory purging of all voter rolls every 4 years (it’s not that hard to re-register).

VOTER ID to be FEDERALLY ISSUED upon registering to vote; enough of this “I have a drivers license in 12 different states so I get to vote 12 times”.

I am not going to waste a lot of time here working out all the details but it’s not that hard to figure out.

Much as I hate giving the feds another job (that they will probably f#ck up), I think it is time for FEDERALLY MANDATED STANDARDIZED VOTING PROCEDURES in all states and territories, FEDERAL VOTER ID, and STANDARD BALLOTS.

Just seems strange to me that third world sh!tholes like Mexico and India can do this but we can’t.

I really don’t ever want to have to look at another picture of some goggle eyed moron looking cross eyed at another stupid punch card!

Hundreds Of Overseas Ballots List Wrong Running Mate For Trump

Over 400 Michigan ballots for military and those residing overseas listed the wrong running mate for President Trump, according to The Detroit News.

Instead of Vice President Mike Pence, Libertarian candidate Jeremy Cohen was incorrectly listed as Trump’s running mate. It is unclear how many of the over 400 ballots were actually sent to voters before the error was caught and corrected, according to MI Secretary of State spox, Tracy Wimmer.

Those attmepting to print or download a ballot during a several-hour period were alerted via a banner on their screen that the system was experiencing a problem. The state followed up with an email elaborating further at approximately 4 p.m. Tuesday. According to Wimmer, the ballots were the result of a “temporary error” in the voter file data.

“If a voter does happen to return the incorrect ballot instead of the correct ballot, it will still count,” she said, adding “The clerk will be instructed to duplicate a vote for Trump onto a ballot for Trump/Pence.”

“Signature alone should not invalidate a ballot.”

They would probably only invalidate Trump votes.
