Thanks for sharing and Gods grace to you and your family. Your father-in-law sounds like type of person that makes the country great and we need them now more than ever. It is a tough thing to experience losing someone a little at a time which is what dementia does. At some point they may get mean to those closest to them. Never take it personal it is just a mind going haywire.

Thanks 😊 I read somewhere that their mind becomes almost like a toddler, but in a big body. Im trying to mentally prepare myself for that. It has already been harder on my hubby, he calls his dad out on things like repeating himself over and over and I have to gently remind him that its not him, its the dementia.
