School systems we mindlessly keep paying for, approving every bond issue and tax increase with only murmurs of protest over the content of the so called education our children are getting.
It may be too late because we are at least second generation away from teaching our founding principles.
Why?
- because we gave the keys of our education system to the GOVERNMENT.

Your post really struck a nerve with me. Our local burb has been inundated with Indians over the past 20 years. Nice people, but only half have sought to assimilate.
For the past several years, I've spoken to my grandson's class on Veteran's Day. I've asked his classmates as a group, how many live in a household where English is not the primary language spoken. Last couple of years, it's been in the range of 80%.
That's when my focus turns to learning our country's history and culture. I relate my experience to the four years I spent in Germany. I learned the language, the culture, etc. The great memories I have, just by immersing myself in the culture.
It's disheartening to attend a function at my grandson's school, and not hear English as the primary language.
Absolutely agree...with emphasis on WE ...Fabian socialists have been targeting public education since early in the last century. Where have Mom, Dad etc, been?
They have been lied to.
When the God fearing founders of this nation came up with the Republican vs democratic form of governmental representation. They considered that groups we call political partys once elected to a given political office. Could place their groups control and interest above the common good and benefit of the nation once elected to a legislative, executive or judicial office. But would work together for the common interest and that would happen by taking the oath of office.
In an era when a man’s word was considered sacred They truly believed that upon election. requiring taking the oath of office which swears loyalty to abide and support the constitution would take precedence and avert any fractious direction super ceding any political position taken by the group that the office holder associated with before entering .It took the democrat convention of 2012 when they attempted to remove any reference to God, “Our Creator,” to clearly demonstrate that belief no longer applied and when one takes that oath today it means nothing.
Yes NEA , and because they hate themselves as they learned zero skills from their parents/parent and their expensive worthless education that has them saddled with debt.....while their liberal mentoring professors order a double choco choco latte at Starsucks....and try to decide which virtue signalling gala to attend....
Low self esteem. Many people are insecure and lack confidence in their own ability to achieve success in life without portraying themselves as a victim.
Duhh! They were TAUGHT to in publik skoolz.
