Yes but in the event the House could not elect a President, the Senate would elect a VP. The line of succession would not come into it at all.

Third, any states that abstain from the Electoral College will not stop the Electoral College from meeting. The 270 threshold will be reduced by half the Electoral Votes of each state that doesn’t participate.

The 12th amendment says:

The person having the greatest Number of votes for President, shall be the President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed;
Article II Section 1 says:

Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors...

The 12 amendment clearly states a candidate needs to win "a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed." This means that the threshold is reduced from 270 by half the count of Electors from each state that fails to appoint. It does NOT mean that states can drop out but the candidate must still reach 270.

That is indeed true. In the case of a House deciding a Presidential election— each state has ONE vote from their delegation. There are more States with Republican dominated House representatives (from a State) than those States who have majority democrats. So— in that eventuality (in the Lame Duck post Election Congress still in session) the Election would go to Trump. Nothing to do with 2/3rds.

Examine the few times the House decided an election. This is how the Constitution lays out the process. This biotch is corrupting what the Constitution says— to serve her chaos narrative.

Constitutionalists know all this as does the House (and Congress’s hired Parlimentarians). Pelosi as usual is full of ....booze and delusion.

As it stands now— the adults would provide, presumably— LAW and Order in proper Constitutional form.

Our duty is to make sure this does not become a potential. Including legal challenges to mail in fake ballot stuffing.

That has been the plan ever since the State of the Union address.

Shred the speech then; shred the Constitution later.

the reasons behind Marie Antoinette being a hated figure in France were due to her personal faults, her perceived arrogance and lavishness, combined with a dislike and declining respect her county.

The M.A. to N.P. parallels are simply amazing!

I wonder if Marie Antoinette got a blow out?

no, the succession is PPT of Senate if no higher office in the succession is occupied at the time, making Grassley president. but even if what you say were the case, a VP would automatically become president since the presidential office would at that time be vacant. as a reminder i am discussing the case in which the House cannot convene.

But if a majority still does not emerge for either Trump or Biden, Pelosi said, “then it goes into another range where the speaker becomes the [president]. It’s complicated one party rule after that.”

Yes, but Congressional districts are small and most of those races will be decided. Some may not even be contested. I don’t see the House being held up.
