I don’t like this—I think 2 more debates as planned, live and not virtual, one on foreign policy and one townhall, would have been better.
Very few people watch Trump rallies (relatively speaking) and likely only those already voting for Trump, but debates get high viewership.

I agree with Trump. Doing a virtual debate gives the fake news too much opportunity for mischief in the control room. Cut Trump’s mike when they feel like it, mess with his audio levels, hide the fact that Biden is being coached, etc.

Town hall? Gimme a break.
ABC will choose the participants, choose the questions - and they’ll choose the order so there’s flow...
And since it’s Biden AND they’re on his team - the questions will be playful and supportive. One or two seemingly ‘tough’ questions will really be excuses for Biden to offer an excuse - that the ‘audience and moderator will quickly accept.
ABC calls it ‘pulling the wool over the yokels]’...to each other... To the yokels it’s called ‘town-hall’...
is it a virtual town hall? if not, why not? why demand virtual with trump when you’ll do live without him? I’m sure that room will have plenty of people that had cv in the past...
