The debates are really designed to sway the non-political people who don’t want to pay attention until the vote is only a few weeks away and then they want to get all the information they need about the candidates with as little investment of time as possible. Those people wouldn’t watch a debate in September.

These are voters who are being hand-selected, with their questions provided to them in advance, and Joe will know all the questions, the answers, and the order in which the questions will be coming, in advance.
A couple of the callers will try to sound argumentative or controversial, for a few seconds, to try to add an air of reality to the format.

debating Hiden’ Biden is a total waste of time. He is amazingly uninformed and mostly just parrots far-leftist mantras (which we all already know he supports).
From a campaign point of view, Trump is far ahead 1 debate to zero, so if Biden doesn’t want to try to even up the score its just FINE!

How is the president going to be “creamed” when he has thousands upon thousands attend his rallies, and hold all sorts of parades in support, while Biden is lucky to get a dozen people to attend his speeches? Mr. Trump may lose but it will be entirely due to fraud.
What would any undecided voter be waiting for? Think about it.
Their positions are known. Their campaigns both have websites which all their policy and campaign promises spelled out. Both highly visible public figures.
All the possible dirt on each one is out there. Folks, every stone has been turned over now. Harris and Pence have had their obligatory debate.
Internal polls already show each campaign the real numbers down to the key countries in each key state. Frankly, there are NO undecided voters because these campaigns and candidates are miles apart. The Supreme Court nomination would have killed Trump had it been a bad move. His numbers stayed solid . Trump has actually gained support nationwide amongst minority groups and the voting public since 2016.
The truth is America already knows how it’s going to vote. No candidate will tell you that but they too already know. Turnout is yet to be decided and that’s the only thing that could change the game at this point. The ground game is in it’s final days. The theatrics of the hearings and the desperation of the Democrats will tell you everything. This close to the election you can bet they won’t scare off any independent voters if they can help it.
Because Biden won’t tell us if he would pack the court, you know without a doubt he’s trailing in those key states. He’s running away from the key issue of the day.
Trump doesn’t need another debate. He just needs to get supporters to the polls and the Limbaugh virtual event is the beginning.......
I did not say that he’s going to be creamed. I just said that if the polls are right he’s going to get creamed.
