Pam Bondi is part of Trump’s legal team. I’ve been on many flights with her to and from DC. I don’t think she’s got the patience for the politics, she’s just a really sharp legal mind.
I would wholeheartedly encourage his firing. The lard ass son of a bitch has not done anything except sit around with his finger up his ass looking pretty. While the Republic is under attack from all sides 24/7.

Do you realize that Trump is on his second nominated and confirmed AG and has presided over three acting AG’s in the past 3 1/2 years? All of whom are turning out to be duds. When is he going to get it right?
I voted for Trump so I’ve earned the right to criticize him when warranted. He’s not God. He makes mistakes. We can’t survive another bad AG.

Trump has very few choices in the people he appoints. If they have the skills necessary they do not have the knowledge and vice versa. And learning that people who have reputations that are sterling for integrity are still Establishmentarians and when they are faced with the prospect of dismembering that Establishment they must go wobbly, as the Brits say.The Establishment co-opts the necessary talent right out of the universities. Trump has an extremely limited pool of talent who are both very talented and not part of the swamp. Giuliani was the obvious first choice but he refused to take it on.

I think Barr is hedging his bets in case Biden wins. The left would definitely come after him if he didn’t back down.
I was disappointed in Trump that Rudy wasn’t his first pick for AG back in 2016. If he was, Trump’s presidency would have looked even better than it does now.
