Obamacare is now considered "settled law" and anyone who touches it is going to be evil. Nevermind that people who already had coverage, especially for pre-existing conditions, got screwed and had to pay super-high deductibles for s--tty coverage.
Republicans simply need to take a stand and run firmly on repealing Obamacare entirely and touting market-based, patient-center solutions. They are already accepting the pre-existing premise lie. If people lose their pre-existing plans that they had under Obamacare if Obamacare is repealed, they'll get some or most of that coverage back through the market.
