You have no reply. There's no rationale of any sort to buy an electric Hummer. Stupidity would be the only reason.

The tanker truck comes by and fills it for about $1.50 a gallon.

” There’s no rationale of any sort to buy an electric Hummer. “

Just the ability to go where very few SUV’s would even think of going not to mention embarreassing Corvettes and Hellcats at the stoplight!

Hmm. I am thinking you are evading road taxes?

“GM on Tuesday drew oohs and aahs when it unveiled an electric Hummer with a 350-mile range and other spiffy features. The price tag: $112,595”

Base model $69,999.

Ok, so it has 4 wheel steering. Honda Accord had that in the 90's. Nice but not earth shattering

Agreed. This site is full of old fuddie-duddies.

Having owned a Tesla Model S, I can confirm that for most of my use cases, that electric car works well. The gap is in rapid recharging, and have switched back to a Mercedes E-Class as my daily until the infrastructure is a bit further built out.

If you get caught using untaxed fuel on the road, you’re going to be in a heap of trouble.

The industry is ready if the consumer wants to move toward EV. But the current EV market share is 2%.

Yes, of course. Lets look down and back. That has always been the way forward. Some of you guys are so old you shit dust. I am talking 15 years from now. You really believe the world will look the same in 15 years. You will be looking through the top of a casket, so there is that.

All I said was that the auto industry is ready (or soon to be ready) for EV's. Then I stated the fact that the current market share is 2%. The implication is that as time goes on, we will see what the consumer wants.

To which you responded like a psycho.

BTW, I run 10k's under 50 minutes, I run about 1,200 miles a year and suspect that I'll live to see you lying in a "casket", perhaps in an ICE hurst.

LOL!

This site is full of old fuddy-duddies.

I never realized that there was an ICE vs EV thing developing on this website.

What are you afraid of? If people want to drive EV's, eventually that's what will happen. Unless of course if government interferes in the process and we get what people don't want.

You, on this site, aren't rooting for that, right?

“The gap is in rapid recharging,”

Tesla is installing 250 kw chargers. The Hummer will use 350 kw chargers.

“What are you afraid of? “

Why do you say he is afraid? There are a lot of fuddy-duddies that make stupid false comments about EV’s.
