I think the picking on him is deserved. He's my Senator and I say that very loosely. I think he's a little worse than the average US Senator, which is saying a lot. He tries way too hard to try and be a statesman playing all sides and comes across as F.U. to his constituents.

How is he worse than the average Senator?

He was a prodigy of McCain and behaves a lot like McCain. Strike Two

Never met a war/conflict/intervention he wasn't ready to vote YES on and is a cheap labor express Republican. In that sense, he's a lot like every other Senator.

The "average" Senator is probably Susie Collins when you factor in that 46 of the rats (all but Manchin) are hard core Maoists.

We needed Sessions’ seat to repeal Obamacare, too. And what did the OGP establishment do? They campaigned for progressive Democrat Doug Jones. McCain was only the deciding vote on Obamacare repeal because Jones won. Apparently, party loyalty is a one way street in the GOP.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ll take Graham over the commie senators any day of the week. If Harrison wins, those who voted against Graham but voted for Trump to send Graham a message will have buyers remorse.

With that said, he’s not a great senator for SC folks who are conservative or who expect their senator to represent their constituents, which is why he’s gotten a lot of blow back in SC.

It shows the Democrat at 46%. I read an article that said there are a surprisingly lot of college educated voters(who have been trending Democrat) and a lot of black voters. It is very common for the Democrat nominee in South Carolina to get 45 or 46%. But, it is like a ceiling. If that is true Harrison is likely stuck where he is and it is Linda's for the tacking.

Lindsey is no Ted Cruz. But he’s no John McCain or Mitt Romney either. At least since McCain moved on. We need Lindsey to pull this out. Come on South Carolina.
