Why wear something that hinders breathing, hinders normal human communication — and cannot filter out viruses?

Didn't the CDC report that more than 70.6% of those who caught the Corona always wore masks? And another 21.6% usually wore masks when they got sick? Why is our governor encouraging us to join the 92.2% of the population who got sick wearing masks? I'll hang-out with the 7.8% who rarely wear masks and stay healthy. Pound sand, Governor.

Of course, if the country had followed the lead of West Virginia (doing better than CANADA), w’d have 4.6 million cases, and only 84,000 deaths.

Also, it turns out Virginia’s numbers are up since I did the calculation, and the nationwide death toll would now be 140,000 if the country did as well as Virginia.

Canada has 27 deaths per million, West Virginia only 25 per million. Canada has a population density of 4 per sq kilometer, while West Virginia has 30 per sq kilometer, so it is much more dense, but has better numbers, deathwise.

Case-wise, WV has 14 per 1000 people, canada 6.3 per 1000. Canada’s death rate is almost double our most backwards state.
