Well it looks like 76/83 counties reported on Michigan.gov website and doesn’t include Wayne(Detroit) which the news is counting.

You’d think Michigan.gov website which updates every 10min would have it updated to reflect Wayne.

See post #30. SOS is not reporting 7 counties. If you go to each county's website and get THEIR election results, it makes up the difference between what you see in the media and what you see on the Secretary of State site.

My guess is those numbers have been counted by the counties, reported "unofficially" by the counties on their websites, but not yet certified and reported "officially" by the Secretary of State.

Old numbers totaling 3.7m votes. The current tally is 5.2m. Basically SOS incompetence, feeding numbers correctly to news providers while not updating its own website.

Biden 519,809
Trump 244,853

Peters 506,968
James 240,693

These vote totals simply haven't made their way through the Secretary of State's process yet.

I don't think so. The news members are going to every individual county and getting their numbers from them (I did it for 6 out of the 7 counties the SOS isn't including). The SOS is more likely waiting until the county certifies and submits those votes before they appear on the SOS site.

Those numbers haven't updated in quite a while and it's been over three hours since the number of counties counted went from 75 to 76.

Something's wrong with the MI SoS site. I'm looking for alternate sources of information now.

Correcting myself: I just refreshed the site AGAIN and am now seeing 77 counties counted. Sure seems to be going slow.

Several news organizations (cough, cough ..) are showing vote totals more than 1m votes higher than the MI Secretary of State. I'm having trouble resolving the numbers together.

I went to each of the missing counties' websites and posted what they listed here about a half hour ago. So even those are probably old, but they filled in the hole with the SOS site pretty well.

You are correct, the Michigan SOS site gives a much more rational picture of the counting. So what is up with the media outlets and all the maps showing Michigan lost?

That's the exact discussion going in between myself and some co-workers right now. They're looking at "news sites" which are saying there's a huge vote discrepancy between them and the MI SoS.

My own thinking is the MI SoS should be the authoritative source since they're responsible for running and reporting of elections. The "news" is about creating drama and keeping eyes on tv screens.

Am I wrong?

I believe those numbers are from late last night early AM, just before they stopped counting and worked through the night with their chicanery. You can bet all these RAT Govs. got together to work to deny Trump. When Biden put the lid on it last night he was very confidant even though he was losing.
