I listened to an internal speech distributed around the mi legislature GOP members by Curt Vanderwahl.
His voice oozed with the soft, squishy, soothing voice of a never-trumper explaining away all of the debunked fraud theories.

Starting from software issues, USPS memos to backdate ballots to tossing in sharpie-gate disinfo, eventually GOPe-splaining that ballots were secure in Detroit with a key for a repub and one fór á dem the system has integrity intact. The final screwing was stating that no inspector was blocked in Detroit, that did not happen, boxes brought in during the dead of night were camera equipment to *film* the counting.

He is leading the comittee “investigation”.

Which has not even started yet.

Sounded like a pastor telling his flock, “it’ll be OK, nothing to worry about, we’ll all come together an move on”.

James Comey in a cheap-suit.

I though he was pro Trump, went to his rally but no fire whatsoever in his first comm to members.

Or would it take another law stating that the legislature will allocate electors and not the voters? And if so, what is the chance that the governor won't veto it?

According to the Constitution, the governor has no say.

It would take pretty clear evidence of fraud, and/or serious popular pressure for them to do it.

Richard Baris has found at least 10,000 dead people voted in Michigan in the election. He has the records to prove it.

That’s the tip of a much bigger iceberg. How many with mover flags at the post office (ie people who no longer reside in Michigan) voted? Everybody acknowledges that only 20% of people who move bother to put in mover flags at the post office, so however many of these ineligible voters voted, the real number is probably 5 times higher.

How many people who are eligible voters in Michigan would be surprised to discover they voted?

Trump is going to highlight all the dead people who voted.

That is indisputable fraud - and it points to much more fraud.

The legislature has the sole power to make election law. It is also up to the legislature to certify the results......or to refuse to certify the results if they believe there has not been any integrity in the election.

The legislature could force a TE-vote with existing election integrity rules restored (they were waived due to Covid) or they could even determine Trump was the winner and send electors to vote for Trump in the electoral college.

Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Arizona all have Republican legislatures.

Yes, overriding the so-called “election result” is so drastic that it’s fanciful to think any of them would do it. Maybe there’s a really low chance it could happen if their report found overwhelming evidence of fraud to give them cover. But the dems would start using it in the future to dispense with legitimate election results they dislike (though they will anyway now that the idea of it has been raised). Not sure if there is any good exit from the situation the demsheviks have set up.

I meant to add GA too:

In the GA chart, between 1 and 2 am, 100-200K votes were dropped for Biden. GOP observers were sent home at 10:30, told counting was done for the night. Trump went from a +8 lead at midnight to a +2,5 lead the next morning! Details here: http://freerepublic.com/focus/news/3901227/reply?c=9894

According to the Constitution, the governor has no say.

If it takes legislation to change the current process then she certainly would have a say. A big one.

It would take pretty clear evidence of fraud, and/or serious popular pressure for them to do it.

I'm not holding my breath.

The legislature has the sole power to make election law.

Which they did when they decided that electors would be apportioned based on popular vote. Changing that would require a new law.

It is also up to the legislature to certify the results......or to refuse to certify the results if they believe there has not been any integrity in the election.

Says who?

The legislature could force a TE-vote with existing election integrity rules restored (they were waived due to Covid) or they could even determine Trump was the winner and send electors to vote for Trump in the electoral college.

Not as the law is currently written, no.

Maybe even...

“Vice-President Joe Biden, recently robbed of his 2020 Presidency”

The legislature could threaten to declare Trump the winner if there is not a re-vote with normal election integrity laws in place. The Democrats would then agree to have a re-vote.
