What a hero Pvt. Paul Wiedorfer was!
So many heroes...so little time!
I salute him!

Hey there, Kathy.

No, we didn't warm up but it didn't cool off that much after the front went through. Tonight will be cold since there's no cloud cover to hold heat in. Highs in the 50s and 60s are in store for the week with lows in the 30s and 40s.

What a gorgeous sight from your driveway! But dang, it gives me goosebumps. LOL

We were treated to a pretty view on the Lake Hood cam a little while ago when the cam op zoomed in on Mt. Denali and I can never remember the name of the mountain on the left. Darn, this getting old thing stinks.
It's hard to believe how far away the mountains are.

Sounds like a fun enough weekend, spending time with those silly pooches. Smart gals, Robin and your daughter, escaping to warmer climes for a bit. LOL

Your mention of rain reminded me I hadn’t checked our rain gauge to see what we got this morning. Pretty much nothing which is par for the course - - .07 of an inch. *sigh*
Now that the sun’s gone down, it took the heat with it. BRRRR

It's been a 504 gateway error kinda day ;)

Yup, I got a lot of that this afternoon too.

I hope your weather wasn't too wild when the front blew through. It wasn't bad here but from Nashville northward it looked pretty rough.

Howdy, luvie.

How are things your way?

Not too bad here though it was a bit blustery last night and today. Now the yards are covered with leaves.

It’s been cool all day, but not unpleasantly so. Right now it’s 49 and the house feels a bit cool for the short-sleeved tee i’ve been wearing. Might have to put on some flannels or sweats. LOL!

Glad it’s calmed down there. That blustery is what we had yesterday. Not fun.

It sounds like we have similar weather today, other than we had wind. Our temps were about the same.

Ya know, there are these nifty things called heaters that ward off the chill better than sweats and flannels. LOL

So far it’s just cold, but I’m inside looking out and know I don’t have to go out tomorrow. 😁

FR seems to be back at full speed for me...just zipping along.

Yeah, I know, but ours automatically goes down when it starts getting late, because we’re supposed to be all covered up and sleeping by then. But then there is me...still awake at 3am. LOL!

The temps today were pretty nice for mid-November. I’m sure not griping. But MAN! I’d hate to be in Alaska now. 12 degrees and falling. ~~shiver~~

I’ll bet you’re VERY glad you don’t have to get out and about. The streets are probably lie your deck - - icy spots to make everyone slip and slide.

Are you planning to have your studdy tires put on your car soon so it’ll be ready to go any time you do have to get out?

Yep, FR’s zipping along tonight. I welcome relief after the struggles this afternoon.

Ugh. I wouldn’t have a setup like that. Maintain a comfy temp, period. I’m up all night and would freeze. Heck, I DID freeze all the time during winter at the old house and want no more of it! LOL
We don’t keep the house hot. No short sleeves and shorts during winter like a few friends of ours do. I can’t handle being in their houses because I get so uncomfortable.

It reached low 60s here today and it would have felt wonderful if not for the wind. It was pretty brisk. We have three days of upper 50s ahead, then it’ll go back into the 60s. No complaints.

If I was in Anchorage right now, I’d be whining away. LOL! It’s way too cold.

If we were in Anchorage right now...we’d be hoping on the first conveience back to the south. LOL! I couldn’t bear that kind of cold. Why, I won’t even move to WY, though it’s gorgeous in the summer.

BTW, our son is thinking of moving back to Texas to get his master’s degree at A&M, where he went for his batchelor’s. I’ve got all my appendages crossed that it happens. I love that area of Texas, and if we ever DID have to live closer to them, it would be perfect. Well, except for the humidity, and I guess one gets used to that. LOL! Hope I haven’t jinxed it by talking about it.

We sure would!! LOL It takes a special breed to deal with that kind of weather and I ain't that breed. :-)

I'll keep all of my appendages crossed, too, on your son moving back to TX. That would be great. You could see the family a lot more often than the once a year you're coping with now.

Indeed, I’ve made that drive to College Station many times, and it’s a piece of cake compared to dealing with airports and masks and all the other long-distance stuff.

I hope your cooler weather doesn’t bring any frozen stuff or the high winds they had in Missouri and Arkansas. That was brutal! I heard from a FRiend that there were even tornado warnings in parts of NY. Crazy. 2020! LOL
