That’s still a bit of a drive but definitely better than travelling to WY. Flying’s been enough of a hassle for a while but nowadays .......
We aren’t going to be cold enough for frozen weather this week. No rain in the forecast, any way, and that stinks because we need rain.
I talked to my brother this afternoon and they had strong winds when this front blew through. He lives east of Nashville. Nashville had 50-plus mph gusts overnight.
Our winds just blew a lot of leaves out of the trees. LOL
I did see a tornado warning in AR or MO last night but can’t remember which state now. The system was stronger north of us and there just wasn’t much “oomph” in what came through down here.
Thank you. It was Mt. Hunter that was in the pic. A simple name and I don’t know why I can’t remember it. I was happy there was a cam op on duty at the time and he was kind enough to zoom in on them. They were pretty as the sun was setting and coloring their snow-covered peaks.
We don’t have ANY mountains here that can be seen from that far away.
You must have slept like a log after being dragged around the lake. LOL Looks like you two covered a lot of ground. I hope whatever he rolled in wasn’t too smelly! :-)
It was a little smelly but He doesn’t smell at all this morning.((LOL)) We’ll see how things go today.
I’ve seen a lot of tweets from Brett Adair about the storms and they sounded wicked. Glad it stayed away from your area and I hope that the weather stays nice there for a while. With a bit of rain for both of us. LOL! Which isn’t going to happen here.
Anyway...it’s nice and quiet here and about 45 degrees. And man...am I ever sleepy. Guess I’ll bug out now and see ya tomorrow!
Glad to hear the stink wasn’t long-lasting. LOL
Brett has several videos on his YT channel from PA and NY of damage from the storms. I had no idea it got so bad up there. Wow! We were lucky to miss out on the “fun”, I reckon. It would have been nice to get some rain but no thanks if we’d have had to deal with all that. Yikes!
It’s quiet here too. The wind died down hours ago and the temp has dropped to 39 at this point. It might not make it to the predicted 34 but ya never know.
I’m heading out too. It’s later than I realized.
I hope your cool weather sticks around for a while. The kitties are probably loving it more than you are. :-)
Good morning, Biggirl, and have a terrific Monday!
It’s 3 degrees here right now, but will warm up to the mid teens later today.
Good morning, E...((HUGS))...looks like you boys had a great time at the lake, and KFC, too!
You guys have a great Monday.
Good Morning!
FR working great on my end too!
Howdy, EGC! (((hugs)))
That KFC sounds good! Glad y'all had a good weekend.
Here's my favorite pic of the handsome lad!
