You laugh. My great-grandmother fled what is now the Ukraine just before WWII. The Soviet sympathizers in her town were instructing herders to give their meat to the government and go to the local markets for their food. The problem was that those local markets were bare, and any meat that was there was often horse or worse, dog.

They’re pushing this plant-based meat BS on us from all corners. Don’t be surprised if someday soon the local butcher is only selling that stuff. They want to cull bovine herds because of “global warming.” No meat for you!
