Other way around actually but they choose to be reprobates so I guess they enjoy their “freedom”. Everybody dies, would not want to be in their shoes facing the second death.
there are plenty of NT references to sexuality and the evils of homosexuality. However aim surprised you do not think the OT is relevant. We do not follow the dietary laws, God clearly rescinded those in Peter’s vision. We do not follow the sacrifice system as Christ’s sacrifice is once for all and the temple sacrifices were meant to point to Christ. The rest of the OT is as pertinent as ever to us. Or do you think God completely changed his character between testaments? He is the same yesterday today and forever. Sin is sin and it’s definition does not change. If your church teaches the OT is not relevant I would find a new church
What is the “Old Testament”?
Jesus is the same today, yesterday, and forever. He basically magnified the Law, not destroyed the Law. As Christians, we uphold the Spirit of the Law (Thanks to Christ’s work).
Yes, there are physiological/mental/emotional arguments, but you dare not ignore the Spiritual aspects as well.
Every part of the OT applies to us today, except for the food laws?
“I don’t know, do you? Does he mean we’re supposed to be eating kosher food”
Have you even read the Gospels, lol? Read what Christ says in Mathwew 15.
And the temple sacrifice system. God also clearly says believers do not need to be circumcised. There is nowhere He changes the definition of sin or its penalty. If you want to disregard over half the Bible including the scriptures Jesus quoted and taught from you have little understanding of God.
I thought it was widely accepted that we don’t follow all the OT like the Hebrews did?
For example:
Deuteronomy 25:11-12
King James Version
“11 When men strive together one with another, and the wife of the one draweth near for to deliver her husband out of the hand of him that smiteth him, and putteth forth her hand, and taketh him by the secrets:
12 Then thou shalt cut off her hand, thine eye shall not pity her”.
I thought we were freed from that kind of thing?
Christ has paid the penalty for our sin. We are free from that. However sin is still sin it’s definition has not changed and neither has the God that defines sin. You can a scour the OT all you want to find verses you think don’t apply but you are deceiving no one but yourself.
Is this a difficulty for you?
You should also not eat meat sacrificed to idols or have sex with anyone but your lawful opposite sex spouse.
Is this a difficulty for you?
So when guys go hunting the first time and drink the blood of a deer they just killed, they are sinning?
When people in desperate situations have caught animals and strangled them, you think they are “sinners”?
That kind of Old Testament stuff doesn’t apply to Christians today.
Yes.

Saving your life allows for things that are not normally allowed.
That kind of Old Testament stuff doesn't apply to Christians today.
Acts is New Testament.
You really don't know much about Christianity do you?
I thought this a Babylon Bee or an Onion shtick.
I think you should get off your high horse. You sound like a stiff necked old Hebrew that was criticized in the OT.
We aren’t Jews. Not even most Jews today follow that stuff. We are Christians. The whole approach of being rule based, text based, word obsessed rabbis is against the spirit of the NT. Jesus was exasperated with those clowns.
The term ‘stiff-necked’ came from God Himself. You might reflect.
Yup. Reality giving satire a run for its money.
You’re not the only one who was not at synagogue on Saturday.
