Fauci has explained this, repeatedly. He is legally required to have his name on the patents that result from his research. He has never taken a dime off of a patent.

This lie about the percentage of the population that will need the vaccine is the worst. It will ensure that until every last man woman and child is vaccinated, they can continue to shut down the country.
And why is that? What will the remedy be for lockdown?
Why, more Pelosi pushed Coronavirus Bills that are more about cementing one party rule and socialism than they are about relief.
What we have to look forward to? A travel ban. And by ban they mean interstate travel. They will then ship vaccine to the rest of the world allowing us to stay locked down for years to come.
And when everyone is vaccinated? Why, the new strain will be worse than the last and/or a new pandemic will arise. The cure? Why, more vaccines and more lockdowns.
