Citizens arrest sounds like a great plan for today.
It doesn’t matter if a conviction is achieved, it matters that we are heard.
Not any that will be liked, I imagine. Fact is none of the GOP leadership will take a stand in favor of correcting this election any rabble rousing among the lesser Gopes will be ignored and they will then have to figure out some way to curry favor from their bettors, after they have been shut down.
The only action I see that could avert this disaster is, the President must exert his executive authority and enforces the laws that his Justice Department won't, else this is all just for show.

Back in 2002 timeframe, Hanoi Jane Fonda was announcing a protest tour against the gulf war. I organized a group of freepers who each agreed to citizen arrest her for treason, for giving aid and comfort to enemies of the USA.We were even starting to pool some money together for whomever finally did the deed because it woulda no doubt invited legal trouble.
Hanoi Jane caught wind of our plans and cancelled her tour.
Yes, an interesting year. The GOP is all but dead and the Dems are soon to be overtaken by the Young Turks.

An excellent point. Its somewhat ironic that both parties are facing growing dissatisfaction within their ranks, if not an insurgency.
But I think the GOP will be the first to crumble because it is a party that rarely fails to disappoint. The base is getting fed up with the persistent weakness. The Dems, on the other hand, have a party that fights like hell for them. Therefore there’s less of an urgency to abandon the party leadership.
These people are duplicitous, tyrannical, self-centered. They will fight the public to the death, if that’s what it takes. They have more courage than the general public does, that’s for sure.
