The "Rev" says, “I believe prayers to be a personal conversation between El Shaddai and the invocator."

And then, he puts this slop, his sick political viewpoint, on the Congressional Record which presumably will last for hundreds of years.

Baloney. He’s another “woke” leftist and he meant exactly what he said. The Awoman part really isn’t what we should be focused on, though. His praying in the name of other “gods” is what’s really disturbing. I have a feeling this man’s future holds four very terrifying words:

Way too late to the game, but I believe it is important to note, that while all and sundry are concentrating on the "amen and awomen" ending, the larger issue is being ignored.

“And dare I ask, oh Lord, peace even in this chamber now and evermore,” Cleaver said Sunday as he wrapped up Sunday’s blessing while serving as guest House chaplain. “We ask it in the name of the monotheistic god, Brahma, and God known by many names by many different faiths. Amen and awoman.”

This, to me is much more problematical, being both heresy and blasphemy.
