Surprisingly, she provided very little ammo for the media. When even Dubya called it an “insurrection” and blamed Trump, and Barr excoriated the president, this lady merely offered the following:

I’ve wondered that about a number of his appointments from the beginning. It seemed Trump valued loyalty yet many of his cabinet picks were not really loyal to him or to the MAGA ideology. It hurt him and us. I don’t know if he was trying to convert some to MAGA or what the rationale was. Bringing Mitt in for interviews for the SecState was never a good move.

This is a total disaster for the conservative movement, the legacy of the Trump presidency, and likely his chances of ever again running for or holding public office.

It was the most asinine pointless action I have ever witnessed in my life. What in God’s name were these people thinking? This is not the way honest conservatives behave - it is not our creed to mimic leftist morons.

The ONLY results this action accomplished was to:

1.) destroy our opportunity to have a significant number of Republican reps and senators raise proper and orderly objections against Biden’s electors, and;

2.) end Senator Ted Cruise’s plan to appoint an ‘election commission’ - however unfruitful their efforts may have proven for our cause. That body was at least a forum to present our evidence.

This dark road was taken to what purpose?

To provide “Cue-Anon fanatics and real white supremacists their 15 minutes of fame on television? Well, they got their wish, and more ... they sure did President Trump a “yuge” favor, eh?

And what of misguided, typically peaceful Trump supporters, who got caught in the moment, letting their anger override their reason? Many will likely soon be arrested, prosecuted, and then sent to prison - for a very long time, if the left has its way.

There is no fixing this mess, and no salvaging anything good from its exercise. A young woman, a 14 year AF vet, is now dead because of it ... And, BTW, FReepers - her Twitter feed was full of Lin Wood posts. Did she die for her on convictions, or for his lunacy?

We had the opportunity to have a forceful and PEACEFUL LAWFUL voice - and we allowed a relatively small number of anarchist fools to severely diminish its power. I am beyond disgusted at the far-reaching political damage done by this act - our enemies are laughing at us. And now our road forward will be 100 times more difficult.

Go ahead and flame my ass, if that’s your way - I do not care. The truth needs to be spoken plainly. I will not sugar coat this disaster so to help delusional individuals cope with reality.
