Imagine it is zero outside. you drive 5 miles down the road. Your battery dies and you freeze to death.

It is bad, but not that bad. I live in central Illinois. I shop at a regional big box store at the cross roads of 2 interstates. This time of year I rarely see any cars at the Tesla charging station in the parking lot.

"Asian"? That's a term vendors use with me when they are trying to disguise the Chinese origin. If they are actually selling something with quality, they will use Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, etc. instead.

I don't see the beef with electric cars. I know a few people who have them and like them.

I don't go for the left's "climate change" scare tactics any more than the rest of you, but if the car works then what's the problem?

Or, if you are really concerned about greenhouse gases, you can store the farts in balloons, compress them, and use them for your barbecue instead of propane. How’s that for concern for the environment! Are horse farts kosher, Rabbi?

Until solar power plants are up and running in outer space, and Anton Tesla’s theorem are proven right, i.e., that electricity can be transmitted wirelessly from outer space, electric cars are impracticable on a massive scale. You’d think these corporate wizzes would get that.

Back 10 years ago, Intel hired a Sr Executive from Samsung to “Re energize” the company.
His suggestion was to re-do the corporate logo.

Sounds like a silly but simple idea.
In reality it is very very very expensive.
Any legal or technical document needs to be re-written and re-printed.

I hear it cost Intel over 200M and the end result is it did nothing for the company.

The key problem was too much management and many who were there were just hanging on till retirement.

I am in my 70s and I just bought a new car. My last car was almost 20 years old, so I expect this one to be my last.

As other’s pointed out, we do not have the infrastructure to support everyone having a electric car...perhaps that is the goal.
