And the shooter?
That is only true if the officer you’re referring to is the one who shot Ashli Babbitt and not one who got too rough with another protester.
In the clearest video of the shooter doing the shooting he is wearing a very nice suit jacket, dress shirt with long cuffs and cuff links. Not what cops wear and not even what private security would likely wear.
If it was a GOPer’s bodyguard who $h0t Babbit, we’d already know his name.
Ergo, it was a Rat congresscritter’s bodyguard. Possibly, some Rat who is a rabid gun-grabber. That would explain the cover-up of the $h00ter’s identity.
I am a border Patrol agent and at times I feel I am nothing more than a mall security guard. People would be shocked to know how our hands are tied. We were told last year that we could do nothing if antifa entered our facility, assaulted us or damaged our vehicles. As a matter of fact we were told if we defended ourselves that the government would not back us and we were on our own dealing with lawsuits.

I’m thinking maybe less than a bodyguard. Congressional staffer.
His physical actions with the gun show a serious lack of training and the decision to fire was deplorable. Bodyguards usually have better firearms training than the typical cop.
Another merit pick or more likely, political pandering -selection by gender and ethnicity?
I was sure they said the shooter. Only one, but I will have to look into it. I find it really disturbing that we do not know more. Why the hush hush. A woman is dead.
Look on the bright side. The Capitol Police will have a great yoga program.
One of the kindest acts I’ve ever encountered was by the Capitol police.
I’m a Californian, unfamiliar with thunderstorms. I was sitting on the steps of the US Capitol with my boys, tourists. Enjoying a beautiful day.
A Capitol police officer walked over to me and said to me very gently: “Do you see that black cloud WAY over there, beyond the Lincon Memorial?” I said yes. He said “In 10 minutes it will be directly over here and will be dumping rain like you’ve never seen before.”
We scurried off just in time to a restaurant for shelter—he was exactly right! We barely made it. I’ve never seen such a torrential downpour, and there is no shelter on the Mall. I still feel gratitude to this day.
Sorry a Capitol police officer lost his life. The few bad hombres in the Trump crowd ruined it for everyone.
These Keystone cops need defunded!
Calling them police is a big stretch. More like mall cops.
There are usually at least 4 sides to most buildings and multiple entrances. Paid actors that know how to riot galore. Hollering out for a fresh water wash after getting maced is pre-planned. Everyone of them that has eye protection or a helmet are not Trump supporters. Forensic exams of these will bear it out who the culprits are.
Very nice little soeech.
Who shot Ashli Babbitt?
“Sorry a Capitol police officer lost his life. The few bad hombres in the Trump crowd ruined it for everyone.”
The media has been waiting for this for over 4 years. They finally got what they wanted. Shame on those who tarnished our reputation.
I have those questions as well. And I want to know exactly which entrances were breached, a timeline of where pipebombs were found in relation to the marh to the building. I see one or two film loops from the steps where the gates were opened but I don’t think that was the case in all entrances. Whether a command was given to open the gatesat all locations or the decision was made at each location is something I would like to know.
Thing is, I can’t tell if the officers were Trump supporters, and wanted Patriots to get in and confront Congress, or were Antifa sympathizers, and wanted to let Antifa in to do damage and create the narrative.
RE: were Antifa sympathizers, and wanted to let Antifa in to do damage and create the narrative.
One thing is certain, the damage to the Capitol building was minimal. No vandalism, nothing burned, no statues toppled. If there was Antifa, their worst people were not there.
I have to dispute you claim of “ not what cops wear”. I had a friend that was capital police. He was assigned to protect the speaker of the house. He wore a suit and a glock 40.
One more question:
Who authorized live ammo instead of rubber bullets?
