So an on duty police officer was wearing a maga hat? And he was showing people around the building? Something tells me this man was not pro Trump
I believe you are correct on that assessment.
"De-fund the police" is really about replacing the police with new cadres hired to much lower standards. Like Antifa rioters.
Even so, I was once an consistent supporter of police departments. Nowadays, not. They are dangerous machinery being directed by hostile operators. Being chronically short-staffed for them might be safer for us.
It is very disconcerting.
I think we also have to consider if these Antifa cells were able to disguise themselves effectively as Trump supporters, if some or all of these Capitol Police officers were subject to recruitment also under a false flag. Could “Antifa” have persuaded them they would be involved in some sort of secret support group for the President? Additionally, there could very well have been Antifa dressed as Capitol Hill police, who moved barricades and funneled people into the Rotunda.
After watching the interview with Michael Yon and Japanese journalist Masako Ganaha, I realize we could be dealing with multiple layers of deception.
I use Antifa because I don’t know what else to name this group. However, one final thought - these same people could be persuading Democrat leadership that Trump is a fascist, etc. Yes, they are leftists, but is this group able to make them more radical than they would normally be?
It would appear the bottom line is to cause CHAOS by DECEPTION.
The deep state is throwing the useful idiots under the bus. The deep state leadership flunked the security and intelligence test - again. And it happened right in the deep state’s house in DC.
Every enemy of America is drawing up plans to overthrow the United States using no more than Wile E. Coyote’s ACME supplies.
“Why the contrast in their response to two different kinds of people?”
In the Marine Corps, we called it a cluster****.
I had a situation last Wednesday with a DC Metro cop who personified the PIG and ACAB analogy. As we were returning to our car, a member of our group who is somewhat handicapped suffered a broken wheel on his wheelchair.
A Secret Service officer suggested we leave him at the corner and tell Metro PD that we need entry into the closed area to pick him up.
Officer Friendly, using his best Protect and Serve mentality refused us entry and walked away when I asked for his solution to rescue our war veteran friend from a street corner in a closed zone of a riot area at night.
The moron cop did absolutely nothing to help.
Fortunately we had a youth size wheelchair with us that belonged to another member of our party. His large carcass barely sit inside it but we made it work.
Officer Stupid got another piece of my mind as we walked past his sorry lazy butt.
Capital Breach - bump for later...
Enjoy that privilege while it lasts. It won't last much longer.
Soon that sort of criticism will get citizens a quick beating in the nearest alley. Unless they are a high-ranking Democrat, of course.
I have usually been impressed by the calm temper of police officers as they listen to a stream of incredibly vile insults and provocations from "persons of interest". That sort of peaceful temper is a relic of times which are passing. I cannot count on such things today.
New times. Old rules don't work anymore. New responses required.
Yep, no doubt about it. It’s a very big building too.
Fair enough. I’ve never been there. I will stand by my statement that his demeanor looked like someone totally untrained with firearms and his decision to shoot was deplorable.
If any police, Capitol or otherwise, allowed themselves to be “recruited” by any faction of the crowd then they need to be out of law enforcement permanently. Especially if they were Capitol Police.
I don’t believe they decided to stand down or assist on their own either.
Seen it claimed in a lib rag that there was an explosion at the mostly peaceful insurrection.
I seen mace and foam all over the place but did they use any flash bangs or have you heard of any explosions there?
There were four or five large sized fireworks explosions thrown at the cops. I don’t know the time or the area of the Capitol that happened but I saw one go off in a video. Some FReepers who were there mentioned it too.
I don’t think the LEOs used any flashbangs.
The news is deliberately mixing up the chronology and geography of the events to build is narrative.
Of course they are. The “news” will never, under any circumstances, tell the truth if it helps the right or hurts the left.
I’m hoping it’s the guy the executed Ashli Babbit.
Very true. However, what if part of the “Antifa” tactic was was to actually be dressed as Capitol Hill policemen to give the impression of joining the riot (ie. opening barricades) so as to cause division within the police ranks over political views? The success of the Antifa Jan. 6th action has been to tar Trump supporters with mayhem and riot so as to make their political views seditious. It would seem it was not only their aim to do this to those outside the Capitol, but inside as well.
