You will have been disarmed by that time, so what are you going to do? Joe is now coming after guns, bullets, trade shows, firing ranges, gun and ammo manufacturers - the lot, all illegal. You may think ‘they will have to pry your gun out of your dead hand’ is some sort of deterrent. It won’t be - just save them the trouble later on.
You may have a lot of guns, but China has said it will take 800 million dead to achieve its goal of more land, resources in a clean land, naming the US specifically.
What you may not realize is that the first two steps in their plan have already been achieved (bio-warfare covid, subverting political leaders), so its just a matter of doubling down in preparation for step 3 - removal ... O and the Chinese are working on a genetic disease - kills everyone but Chinese. Its not a full frontal assault, but a progress of steps until their goal is achieved. If they have to, they will initiate a full assault. This is the only way the CCP Central Committee sees China’s people and the CCP surviving. This is an existential problem for them.
The only ‘bright’ spot in this is that Mao’s old guard is nearly gone - if all of this can be put off until they are safely promoted to Full Dead, then the younger ones may be able to quietly back down. Else the old guard will speed things up before they go.

Arguably, no country is interested in invading America.
The only countries that have actually invaded America since 1776 are the UK. Mexico and Canada .
The UK were the colonial masters and Mexico and Canada are our next door neighbors.
There is nothing to be gained by China in invading America, and plenty of grief, pain and suffering for the Chinese.
I don't remember any time the Chinese have expressed the slightest interest in invading America.
