In 2008, I worked the DNC convention as a TV director and hung with Tom for a day. I admitted to him that I was “working behind enemy lines”. He was very personable and easy to connect with. I learned that he has contempt for both parties. He was quite the little bitch and I liked that.
No kidding! LOL
Maybe they will give him a new well fitted set of false teeth for a retirement gift. The recycled ones they got him from the Salvation Army have worked, but not well, over the last couple decades. His constant lisping has let many to believe that he is gay.
FUTB. You started the rot. Go away for good.
PS - Know one under 50 even knows who you are.
Retired? I thought he was dead.
Retiring a second time?
Sure, he would appear on the scene for special occasions for which I’m sure he was paid, but him no longer being “retired” was never something I knew was a thing.
Richard Jewell was unavailable for comment.
I thought he was curled up with a bottle of Scotch somewhere.....
Like when he was an Anchor......
It’s about the 5th time he’s retired.
I guess that shows how many here ever watch the MSM. I haven’t have it on since FOX came on the scene how many years ago? It used to be the only thing to watch at 6:30 in CA for years. I didn’t know he had any role left in any network.
Brokaw, as much as I loathe him and his raspy, halting voice, did pay homage to WWII veterans though. His book, “The Greatest Generation,” is a must-read.
Is he getting too old and tired to sexually harass the female staffers now?
Yep, I thought he was dead too.
A broadcaster who mumbles and slurs? Pretty cushy gig to “retire” at 80!
Network anchors cling to their posts almost as tenaciously as Senators and Congressmen!
