This kind of rhetoric is just another backhanded way of saying Trump is evil.
The circular narrative goes something like this:
Trump supporters will be nearly impossible to deprogram.
Only programmed people need to be deprogrammed.
Therefore Trump supporters must be programmed.
Programmed people are irrational.
Only irrational people would support evil.
Trump is evil.
Therefore, Trump supporters support evil.
Therefore, Trump supporters must be irrational.
Therefore, we must have been programmed.
Hence, the need to “deprogram” us.
And so on.
Funny coming from these Marxists who are the biggest cultists of all.
They can try to deprogram this middle finger I’m offering them.
So, mnow all the Trumpers are going the way of being anti-Soviet, are they?
Once again, to think of yourself, and not The State, is becoming criminal.

I agree. I can hardly wait to see what my thoughtless and less than deep thinking friends think about CCP taking over. History is full of such and we need to reread why and how it was the various nation states have fallen. I would bet not 1 inf 100 would know why the USA was initially wrested from the British. Maybe 1 in a million might know.

In our small home town this sort of thinking is attacking local people and forcing recall elections. Wealthy leftists are starting their killings. First killing careers and reputations. Then killing people.
