Yes, I was fully aware and I am heartily tired of conservatives attacking Trump simply because he had ill fortune of running in the Republican primaries at the same time as Trump. As far as I know, he conducted a perfectly honorable campaign.
As to these last allegations concerning his remarks about Trump overreaching and failing to win court cases about the election, I note that there were only two senators willing to risk their careers for electoral integrity and Cruz was one of them. The evidence that he risked his career? The targets on his back and Josh Hawley's back.
