Indeed if the didn’t give any coronavirus relief package it would be news 24/7/365 the left bitches and whines about good deeds done because the only know how to squander funds.
Their funds never get routed to the right places only to the blue areas cover ups ensue.

Be serious for a second and stop the partisan nonsense.

I support Trump, always have, but to claim he grew the debt purely on those things is disingenuous as well.

There was little to no fiscal constraint at all.. let’s stop playing games and be honest about that.

Well I mean the almost trillion for the military and the 2-3 trillion for Covid make up a large portion of it. Both parties like to spend our money I get it but its important to remember Trump cut a lot of bloat from government and was prevented by congress from making further cuts. There’s always pork because the swamp needs to bribe their constituents. The gauge once again is..... what are we spending on .... repayment of college loans or rehabbing the VA? Paying for abortions in Uganda or helping farmers in Iowa? The WHO or the small businesses of America? The horse is out of the barn as far as deficit spending goes... the swamp will accelerate spending soon to new heights on utter nonsense. And the contrast will there folks all to see....just spending money doesn’t necessarily disqualify Trump as a conservative.

Debt grew by a hell of a lot more the 3-4 Trillion.

Trying to play fiscal conservative when you did nothing to slow down spending (and there was a lot more spending going on other than that) is hypocritical.

It’s not like her will will spend this for these things but cut it from elsewhere. That never happened.

Love Trump, but cries of hypocrisy on this issue toward gop folks who said nothing last 4 years are not unfounded

I didn’t say it only grew by 3-4 I said 3-4 T came directly from 2 necessities, which is around 65 percent of his spending . And Trump did in fact try and play the fiscal conservative (cut govt, reduce taxes, cut regulation) except like everything else Trump learned in his first term... he was alone. So he played balled like all the swamp creatures. At the end of the day ... as I pointed out .... his spending did seem at all frivilous in comparison to what came before and what is sure to come after .

What is your point? Members of the GOP in office today were in office then and few if any said a word about slowing or stopping spending. Now those same GOP folks are screaming about spending.

Has nothing to do with Trump.

It hypocritical and disingenuous behavior, and as much as I despise Pierre Delecto, he has a point on this one.

You can’t claim the “I’m a committed fiscal conservative when you didn’t make a peep when the GOP was in the White House about spending being out of control.

Other than whine a lot - what the hell has Romney EVER accomplished FOR the people of the United States?

He wants democrats to spend less on their base... OK, so what? The ONLY time Romney complains is when 'the little people' of either party gets something.

Has anyone ever heard Romney ask for bureaucrats in DC to give up their fleets of private jets? (YES, DC 'elites' DO have fleets of private jets - on our dime)

And NO, Romney never has and never will call for DC 'elites' to give up ANY of their private jets (on our dime) or perks. NOPE. Never have - never will...

He’s just stating what is already known. Republicans only care about the deficit when a Democrat is president and Democrats only care about the deficit when a Republican is president.

My point is that the existing GOP party cannot be ‘fixed’
