Chances are the Supremes will say a warrant is necessary, but it won’t matter much as the authorities will lie to obtain one. If they did it to the President and got away with it, it’s a piece of cake to get one for the average citizens.

I agree this boating accident stuff needs to stop. This is not a joke and it's not funny. We are living under a blossoming totalitarian government and we better start thinking seriously.

We have on the table in Texas bills that will nullify these new laws and rulings but in my opinion they don't go far enough. That being said one of several bills is likely to pass and has Governor Abbots full support. Once in place we can then move to pass even stronger legislation that will nullify ALL federal gun laws and jurisdiction. This is what has been proposed in the state of MO.

So what can you do if you don't live in Texas or MO? You can support orgs that are pushing these anti fed gun law bills. In Texas the Texas State Rifle Assoc. is a good place to start. You can donate to them no matter where you live.

Once even one state codifies the nullification of all federal gun laws other states surely will follow. Not all of course but several for sure. This is the way our Republic is supposed to work.

In a nutshell, continuing to joke about boating accidents is going to be our undoing.

I was out about two weeks ago looking to bury some excess equipment until time as I may need it. The area that was intended for the concealment of said material is several hundred square miles in area.
I spent the whole day and have the night looking for a good location. Everywhere I excavated I came Cross stashes of similar equipment or the material meant to feed it. Either that or I came across other people with similar intent. I was really out in the boonies and must have come across two dozen people and a least thirty-five caches. The people I quickly distanced from and the caches were covered up and left as found.
A whole day wasted, miles covered, holes dug and to what end.
I finally hauled everything home, unloaded, put everything away, sat down and pored myself a big whiskey. What’s a guy to do? Why am I trying to hide what’s legal to own?
I’m now considering concealing one-thousand pounds of C-4 in the basement and rigging it for detonation. It may take out the whole neighborhood but it may give the goons pause to think before they try another illegal confiscation. Now I’m going to have to drives 85 miles and dig up my stash of C-4, unless someone else has found it.

Correct me if I’m wrong but the third case listed in the article was about an impounded vehicle. Maybe it was stolen, abandoned or some other reason. While it sits at the impound lot the police could remove valuables in case thieves broke in. That is very different than entering a legally parked or occupied vehicle or a home.

Not a lawyer, but I thought a lot depends on how an officer is looking through a window. If the shades are open and the interior of the home can be seen from the street, that’s fine. But if he is creeping through the bushes and trying to catch a peek through a small gap in the shades, a court might look at it differently. Of course stopping the attack is the right thing to do, but how the trial goes might differ.

I agree. But the “tragic boating accident” line people toss around would generally be a lie if you tried to use it to a cop. If some cops come to your door with a red flag warrant for your guns and can’t find them (because you have stashed them somewhere else) they are going to ask where are the guns. It is at this point you should STFU. Say nothing other than to ask for your lawyer.
