Just about every person I know that has had COVID has been able to trace it to a visit to a restaurant. Go figure.

How can they know that? How do they know they didn't get it at the grocery store or Walmart or any other business?

Wow, We was just in Spring Hill, Fla this past weekend camping/visiting friends.

Oh and if anyone wants to know Hernado Beach does not have a beach.

I steer clear of most people wearing their slave diapers.

Iowa's governor, Kim Reynolds has never been a big CV-19 alarmist and seems to have always been reluctant to impose any of these plague responses.
During the “second CV surge” coincidentally about the time of DJT’s second impeachment, she got pushed into a mask order for the state.
On the Saturday before the Superbowl, she canceled the mask order effective, IIRC noon on Sunday.
I live along the eastern boarder of Iowa and the bars and grills in Iowa reported a “brisk” trade on Super Sunday.
There was no such talk in Illinoisistan.

“We’re getting a ton of feedback, both positive and negative,” said Jesse Fox, the restaurant’s owner, in an interview with a local news station. “I don’t feel like I am going against the grain. I feel like I’m using common sense.”

This is the Twenty-first Century! You don’t expect common sense to get you anywhere, do you?

Why would anyone think that wearing a mask to be of any use in preventing the spread of viruses ONLY WHEN STANDING? In restaurants you only wear the mask going to and from your table. In most of the restaurants I frequent that is at most a 10 second walk from the door to my table where I remove the Face Diaper. That is 20 seconds out of an hour or more. Is that a significant reduction in my contribution to the viral loading of the atmosphere of that room?

The same goes for the six-foot rule. IF you are in the same room with 50 people and the room has common ventilation, do your really think that being six feet from someone is going to stop the air born virus from floating six feet across the room from me to you?

Why is it that so many people just blindly and without thought believe what these politicians tell them?

Common sense died many years ago. I for one mourn its passing.

Maybe they mean the tree.

It does, but it's not what most people think of as a beach. I cast my Sunfish off of Hernando Beach almost every weekend.

Common sense.....one of the first things covid killed.

I mean heck, we actually think we can control a virus. Wave bye to common sense kids, it may not be back for quite some time.

The park all the way at the end? Your right that’s not a “beach”. We went there but they wouldn’t let us in because we had a dog.

There are quite a few areas that fall under the “Hernando Beach” umbrella. None of them are traditional beaches. Hernando is the start of Florida’s Nature Coast which is mostly estuary and swampland. Makes for nice sailing area though, as most powerboaters go for the busier waters around Tampa Bay.

I wear one in a building because the people are generally just working schlubs at the mercy of bosses who may or may not be leftist dipsticks, so I don’t want to put them in that spot.

That said, I put the mask on immediately right outside the door, and rip it off my face (like a surgeon coming out of a failed surgery where the patient died on the table) as I leave.

I do the same thing. I went up to Northern Maine last fall, and there were no “Black Lives Matter” or “We Believe” signs up there, and most people didn’t give a damn about masks, so if people weren’t wearing them, I didn’t either.

IMO, masks are not the best defense against spreading anything, especially not this virus.

What IS effective is handwashing. But I work in healthcare, and I wash my hands a couple of dozen times a day it seems, but I wash my hands often and avoid touching my face, eyes, mouth and nose. Of course, that has been my course of action for nearly 40 years anyway, so it has been no change for me.

I’ll bet if you go back and talk to them, they will tell which person gave them the China Virus.

Maybe BS in general, but seriously ... my brother and sister along with two others got it after a night out at a restaurant. A coworker traced his case to a restaurant visit, as did another friend some time before that.

BS. No they cannot do that. If you get covid you cannot identify where you got it.

Trough the process of elimination and by checking in with others that were in that same spot ... yeah, you can narrow it down pretty good.

No, you cannot. That’s just guessing. You have no clue where this virus is and where you get it from.
