I remember bumper stickers that said “Register Communists, Not Guns.”
I think they had it right!
It’s also because most liberals don’t own firearms, believe the tropes they see in the media, and so believe guns have to be registered everywhere.
First Registration, then Confiscation.
The only good Commie is a dead Commie.
I like Ike.
Bumper Sticker Hits from my youth.
Once they take all the guns will they go after pressure cookers next?.
A law passed out of Cuomo's closet, that was passed by the NY State Democratic House, the "New York Safe Act"
without even having been read by the House.
That outcome came from a trusting, micro-managed Democratic House,
who was instructed to vote for it by the Democratic Party leadership, without reading it.
The next day it went before the Republican controlled State Senate, who were instructed to vote on it, without a reading.
The Republican controlled State Senate balked at passing it, since it had only been given to them just minutes before.
It turned out to be a gun control "wet dream', and several issues were rejected, before it passed (the proposed legislation called for gun CONFISCATION !).
Specifically : (unconstitutional) gun confiscation without owner remunification; or, gun grabbing without payment to the lawful owner.
Two weeks later, this same legislation needed revision, since it also forbade law enforcement officers to carry firearms while on duty.
This is what happens when you passe legislation without reading it! (ie.: Obama Health Care, similar to HR #1 proposed by the Dims and Nazzi Piglousey)
Take the red pill !
It came from television police shows for decades, as did several other terms in common use now.
Makes about as much sense as “fully semiautomatic”. See my tagline
Recently, there was some guy from Virginia that got hired to do some security work in DC for the inauguration. He got stopped at some checkpoint and was arrested or at least detained for some time because he had a pistol and 500 rounds of ammo in his truck. All perfectly legal in Virginia, of course, but not in DC. I suppose they could have charged him with having an unregistered firearm, but I don’t think they did because he was hired to do legit security work. Some people were freaking out and assumed he was up to no good because he had 500 rounds of ammo with him.
I burned my FOID when I moved to Texas, praise the Lord.
We hope to do the same one day soon.

I carry a copy of the Second Amendment to the US Constitution with me.
That is ALL the paperwork I need!
