AMEN!
Good point. At the least they need to make sure that it is crystal clear that state officials do not have authority to change these requirements and that there will be legal penalties if they do.
It’s a good step forward though. Everyone on our side who lives in a swing state with screwed up election laws needs to be pushing their state legislators to improve voter security and integrity until it’s done.
Florida needs to get rid of this as well. So many New Yorkers voting from New York in Florida elections.
My $.02 worth -
There is a website that all Georgians and former citizens can use to track if someone has voted under your name - https://www.mvp.sos.ga.gov/MVP/voterDetails.do
Also, I personally know that the democrat party was vote harvesting for all those who were previously eligible to vote.
Yes we need it by Cooper and AG Rosen would both oppose it. We should pass it and make Cooper veto it, but don’t expect anything soon since both just got re-elected (barf).
Hopefully the courts will finally stop blocking voter ID which we passed by referendum 2 years ago in time for the next election.
Looks like the take back rules of voting is on the move let it spread at super sonic speed.
Yes, I know about https://www.mvp.sos.ga.gov/MVP/voterDetails.do
I checked there back during the election, and that’s where I discovered that I was still registered in GA. There was no info there showing if I “voted”. Perhaps they removed that feature before the election to make the cheating easier. There was also no feature there to unregister. There was a feature there to order a vote by mail ballot.
