I have a friend who was Chief of Police for a long time, in his 80’s now and we have discussed this “Just Following Orders” crap quite a few times and the Officers understand sort of, but they are too weak to stand up for themselves.

MI has large union, minority and retiree demographics. Recall got no traction, and Lieutenant Gov. Garlin Gilchrist is an anti-cop black with an attitude and supports Hamas.

There was not enough serious support for the recall and it died. They had a very limited time to get signatures and only got half of what they needed

Plus, there were a couple other anti-Whitmer petitions and lots of people thought they’d already signed it.
If you live in Michigan and she wins again in 2022, you might as well as pack up everything you have and move to a friendlier location like Florida.

Just like all the others who are too concerned with their jobs, their mortgage payments, the payments on their new F-150 trucks or ATV's and the kids in college and the high schoolers with their soccer and cheer leading practices...........

Whitmer does not like the bad PR but it is worth it to get obedience. Nessel is mad as a wet hen at the officers. Her orders to them were, "Bind her hand and foot, drag her out into the street and put a bullet in the nape of her neck. Go****n breeder!"
Or who murdered 15,000 old folks and citizens with developmental disabilities. Plus all of those murdered in the other States... REAL blood on their hands.. but they are lauded.
