I know murder when I see it. This was murder. Add that bystanders informed Chauvin many times that Floyd was unconscious. The murder was intentional.
Floyd was acting erratic in the store he passed a phony $20 bill in. See the video. He swallowed more drugs when arrested which killed him. His body had many other drugs beside the fentanyl plus an enlarged heart from the drugs and alcohol over the years plus he was willing to murder people by selling the fentanyl and other drugs or using a gun in a home invasion as he did in Texas and pointed a gun at a pregnant womens stomach. He was not placed on the ground and murdered at all. Floyd caused his own death. If not that day then not to soon afterward.
Remind me to never answer any question you may have in the future.
Fortunately for our legal system, gut feelings don’t count. Evidence does (or at least used to).

I wouldn’t call viewing actual video, and hearing actual audio, of the event “gut feelings”. This was premeditated murder.
Floyd swallowed a lethal dose of fentanyl. The entire world thinks Chauvin should have got up to see if he was OK, but if he hadn’t taken a lethal does of fentanyl, he would have started flailing around and would have got TASE’d and that would have killed him, too.
60,000 American die of Fentanyl OD’s every year. This was one of the few that was caught on Camera. You lay there and you stop breathing and 10 minutes later, you are dead.
As a police officer, when you see that the person who’s neck you have your knee on has become unconscious, when a whole crowd of onlookers point out that he is unconscious, what should you do? Continue to strangle him until he’s dead?
Except he didn’t die of strangulation.
He swallowed a lethal dose of Fentanyl.
Just like 60,000 people do every year.
