Forty years ago when my ex and I were dickering over custody of our daughter during the divorce (I caught him with another man), my lawyer said that I could get full custody since he was in a relationship with another man and same sex couples were extremely jealous and violent. The lawyer worked with a psychiatrist and law enforcement to get that information to use in court to prove that the child would be in danger while with them. Yes, I got full custody. It was the 70’s.
I’m a Scots/Irish redhead and yes, my ex is lucky to be alive. LOL My temper has really mellowed over the years.

So that’s what was going on. I wondered same. The victim was slow and limping, and then the perp gave herself up to police. Certainly doesn’t fit the narrative of robbery or gangster hit.
One particular pathology of homosexuality is violence. It occurs at a far higher rate than in heterosexual relationships.
