I think we agree. The green house effect which makes Earth livable for those who evolved here, is complicated but hugely dependent on the water cycle. Man made CO2 is a minor factor. Controlling 100% of all man made CO2 emissions down to zero is a) not possible and b) inconsequential. I held my breath for a minute just then and that’s all I’ll contribute to AGW.

Definitely agree with that. It would be impossible (and dumb) to reduce to zero. If we reduce from 33 Gt per year down to about 22 per year, the rise in the atmosphere would slow or stop. If we want that, we can do that pretty easily with some global carbon neutral tech like solar hydrocarbon fuel.

I think part of the problem is that these people really do not grasp how BIG the Earth is. All of their thinking is based on their concept of a very small Earth in their imagination.
