Exactly. What I don’t get is how and why black people tolerate these lower standards.
When White people are held to higher standards, but blacks are not - does that not send a message that no on expects blacks to do what white people do?
my kid works p/t in a restaurant in Arlington Va... recently had a table say “racial profiling” because when they asked “what’s in a Moscow Mule” the server gave them the bar menu to read for themselves.
Wha??? How in hell was that profiling? Of course the manager broke his back bending over to apologize and knock stuff off the bill.
People like that are playing Restaurant Chicken. and they usually win.
You mean to tell me that someone in Atlanta sees a 6’8” black man, sees this man’s face, and doesn’t think they recognize him from all his years of playing for the Atlanta Hawks?

The article did not show or describe what he was wearing. Instead it showed him dressed up but he was not at that place. Shading the truth.
I think the restaurant worded the apology perfectly. They in no way backed down. Kudos!

Well, I would not recognize him without a captioned photograph. (Maybe if he was wearing a uniform shirt with a number and nameplate?)
