I turned 75 yesterday. When I was a kid we actually had a system of justice including the FBI and the US Attorney General. And some parts of the news media would investigate a story and bring out a scandal or a serious crime so everyone would demand something be done. You had freedom of speech to talk about it and disagree about it.
Don’t laugh, young people, I was there in those days.
