I told ya it was a big fire. LOL Our tree debris isn’t just sticks and twigs. It’s trees too ..... a few years’ worth.
All gone now except for some large tree trunks. They’ll probably smolder all week.
I shouldn’t have hung out to watch it last night. The smoke has left me with a bangin’ headache today.
I had no idea. LOL! I guess I thought you cut them into smaller chunks. How fun! But sorry for the headache. I can see how the smoke would do that.
Nope, the limbs are lopped off to make it easier to drag the trunks to the pile. If any limbs will make good firewood, we’ll call a few friends to see if they want to come out to cut some up to haul home. If not, the limbs are hauled to the burn pile.
Every few years, we burn the big pile and start over. LOL
