Regardless of whether Ducey is a good or bad option for political reasons, I’d say most governors probably have no interest and the wrong personality for a Senate seat. Going from an executive post to a legislative body filled with feckless A-holes is a huge step down for a lot of people.

I live in Yavapai County, the most conservative county in Arizona. Ducey would be chased out of parts of this county if he showed up here.
none of that crap is relevant. you have substantially accomplished your goal; this is the looking more and more like senate you want.
