It's all Kabuki. McConnell plays the part of resistance but the plan moves forward anyway. Shucks, the Republicans got duped again.

McConnell has a precise surrender plan ready as usual.

McConnell is a big spender. He never wanted Trump as President.

Right - like the campaign to overturn ObamaCare. After years of raising money pledging to overturn it, when push came to shove and Repubs controlled the White House, Senate, and House of Representatives, lo and behold - ObamaCare is still the law of the land!

Trump exposed their Uniparty nonsense, and was removed for doing so.

The GOP had the White House and both branches of Congress from January 2017 to January 2019. President Trump would have signed any conservative bill passed by Congress.

During that 2 year period the GOP Congress did essentially nothing except pass a tax bill. It failed to repeal Obamacare. It failed to rein in federal spending. It refused to pass funding for a border wall. Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell collaborated with the Democrats in thwarting President Trump.

To those who say electing a GOP majority in the Senate and the House will save the Republic, I say — How many times does Charlie Brown have to attempt kicking the ball before he realizes Lucy will always snatch it away?

The GOP members of Congress are deal makers, not defenders of liberty. In the majority or the minority they will take care of themselves, and their big donors. They despise their voters and openly display their disrespect by putting on performances like this most recent negotiation sham.

I really wish more people would wake up to the nonsense. Washington is filled with nefarious actors and as long as those people (both parties) are in the majority, they will continue to shove their agendas down our throats. There has to be a major cleansing of all branches!

Right now, my eyes are on Rubio…he's in trouble so he's back to playing conservative. He has to go!

Right; Trump had to beat BOTH parties to win, and they openly collaborated in removing him while obstructing his “America First” agenda.

Nobody should have any illusions anymore...

Great summary. It really is sad. 2017 was a time for choosing. Trump and MAGA or the progressive agenda of the Democrat Party. And who did the GOP choose to stand with? Marxist Democrats. History will damn them all.

Yep, GOP politicians have not earned a scintilla of respect, yet they want to be treated as royalty. Try to get a meeting with your senator, harder than seeing the pope or the queen.

At some point, you have to take the blinders off.

Most of the GOP Senators are Assistant Democrats.

The government - ALL of the government (including almost every single Republican) - is the enemy of the people, the enemy of decency, the enemy of freedom and the enemy of self-rule and self- determination. They are simply tyrants with different trappings, packaging and traditions.

All of this is bullsh*t. They are tyrants protecting their elite status, nothing more.

You’re right; the primary difference is they don’t even mask it anymore.
