My first car cost $180. I paid cash, as I have for every car that I've purchased since.
Amen, amen! Once my house is paid off next year, my FICO score will be “indeterminate”. Screw them.
How much less could you care, a little or a lot?
If the government takes over the credit rating score, it will become obsolete, as capitalist companies will not use it. The companies will find another way to assess the risk of someone paying back the loans they make.
Social credit score already being pushed at mylife.com.
Search someone’s name...
“Firstname lastname mylife.com”
They’ve been doing this for at least a year.
>capitalist companies will not use it
So-called capitalist banks are happily cutting Gab and individual conservatives off from the bank system even now.
I imagine that mine is pretty bad.
I unintentionally didn’t search me lol.
Somebody already in financial difficulty may have a higher probability of not having the rent money.
True. But someone who might not be in financial difficulty for things normally covered by credit reporting companies, but could still have a lot of lates paying rent.
The Communist Purge Is Growing Exponentially & The Disgraceful, Cowardly, Sniveling,Aamerican Sheeple Are Doing Nothing About It!
they never have because they want to be paid back, yes.
but now they are trying to change how those risk assessment scores are calculated so that they would have to take on some people they previously would have said no to...
Well now, how do we stop them?
I think killing them is a good start.
another CCP spy in our goverment..
True, but the credit report will show bounced checks and law suits for unlawful retainer, (eviction), which landlords would be very interested in. The low FICA will give the landlord a clue that he/she should pull the credit report. Some local and state governments are trying to make credit reports illegal for landlords to use for rental determinations.
My last year in college I wanted to buy a cheap Sears black and white TV. I didn't have enough cash so I asked for a payment plan. Up to that time my earnings had been sporadic and evidently didn't have a credit score without any debt. The salesman said no problem we can use your father's credit score so I gave him the information.
After awhile the salesman advised me that my father didn't have a credit score either. I knew my dad always paid cash for everything and I naively thought that would generate the highest credit score. Nope.
I asked my father about it and he told me he had been burned by an auto loan on a 1928 Dodge and that he hadn't bought anything on credit since then.
Same thing happened to someone I know. His credit score is lower because he never uses credit, doesn’t use a credit card, etc. Years ago he paid off his student loan and his house, the score didn’t change at all. Most of the credit score is based on credit cards it appears.
