My distant relatives who were victims of Lenin, Stalin and Hitler had no guns, and neither did the roughly 35 million that these monsters murdered, or the hundreds of millions they effectively enslaved. I will not make the same mistake, no matter how much some senile, corrupt old lech hates my liberties and those of my family. In fact, just his desire to disarm us makes me want to acquire more of them...because I wonder what it is that he and his masters are planning to do that cannot be done while 125 million of us own some 1/2 billion guns.

I hope you’re right that there will be more elections. With Bush it was “of course”. Even with Clinton and Obama it was “of course”. But this time is different. It is not “of course,” because so many “of courses” have been destroyed or at least severely damaged and continue to be under assault. And the assaults are open and brazen.
It is now “maybe” and it’s wise to prepare for the worst. Rome was once a Republic, too. To set up avenues of encrypted communication that can’t be hacked, including ways to send alarms. To set up underground workshops with all the necessary equipment. To set up avenues for people who need to suddenly make themselves absent. This and much more may not be necessary, but “be prepared” is the Scouts’ motto.
The first one was in 1960, but Nixon declined to contest the questionable results. Kennedy did in Hawaii, and had the electoral votes switched.
This time, Trump contested the results, and the courts refused to even consider the evidence. Chief Justice Brave Sir Roberts wouldn’t apply Bush v. Gore because there were street riots outside. His Law Clerk went public with that revelation, and then probably quit in disgust or was fired.
