The use of the word “racism” to describe acts or thoughts which should be correctly termed as “bigotry” is the origination point for the overuse of the word. Etymology is purposefully LOST on the people/media/commentators and supposed common usage given to the word.. racism.
Leftist “academia” has provided the institutional “norms” for the Statists (the ruling class as they think of themselves, or collegial “priests” of State religion) for this purposeful mis-use of words— as they always have done.
Racism, “Race” is italicized as it has clearly been broadened in usage through re-definition to accommodate the misuse of the word... “racism” for the observable actions known as bigotry. Nowhere in contemporary definitions of the “woke-ists” exist the word bigotry. Because they themselves are Statist bigots of the first order of the Statist religious dictat. World socialists are all (in their own minds) non-racist, non-bigoted and so forth (see: “Visions of the Anointed, Thomas Sowell). When they quite clearly ARE hugely racist and bigoted, according to their politics, and power building over others.
Bigot:a person or persons who are narrowly focused and devoted to their own ideas and groups, and intolerant of differing ideas (and of people with those ideas), “RACES”, religions,genders,politics (and all else they can dump this into—for their non-use of this term). In regards to religious bigotry—could be based on supernatural or superstitions as an easy “out” for the bigotry. The etymology of the word “bigot” is Old French, supposedly describing the religious Normans who swore against non-believers with “bigott” (By God!). Fascinating history.
Bigotry as thought,is perfectly legal in a free society delimited by actions which would be illegal motivated by bigotry—discrimination, genocide, star chamber extrajudiciary murder, so-called “hate” crimes (if provable by evidence, not opinion or attitude or political positioning). World Socialists are world class bigots, for the great world Order of the Comintern. Demonstrate this every day.
Bigotry is what they have expanded the word “racism” to mean. Here’s the problem— what are the races of the world, not the ever expanding facile use of the term for political ends (gender dysphoria for decades is a defined mental illness which surgery does NOT cure, especially since there is little or no psychiatric diagnosis done prior to someone just wanting a sex change!).
Orwell wrote of the “redefinition” of words, as public policy to erase... people. Erase conservatives- call them “racists” (Fix and freeze the target, Alinskyites in/out of gubmint. Pelosi’s “smear/wrap” fully described in public statements to the press.
The word lost its meaning a decade ago. We’re just now figuring it out.

With all that’s going on in Afghanistan and in the path of Hurricane Ida, you might have missed President Biden’s virtual appearance in Louisiana. He had his White House aide, Cedric Richmond, a black former Congressman from Louisiana, with him.
During his remarks, Biden referred to Richmond as “my senior adviser and boy who knows Louisiana very very well, Cedric Richmond.” Now, I’m sorry, but this is inappropriate in any circumstance. Especially given Biden’s long history of racist comments (and policies), referring to Richmond as “my BOY” is offensive. It would be considered racist if President Trump had said it about, say, Secretary Carson, and it’s racist now, when Biden does it.
We need to condemn racism in all forms in all circumstances.
