Who will accept us fleeing American refugees from the tyrant thugs who have taken over America?

Who knows? Vietnam maybe, or Thailand, or the Philippines? 🤔

Just two days ago the media called it a vacation. Suddenly they refer to it as being at Camp David.

I might have agreed with you at one point, but not anymore. I no longer believe "the right" are actually a majority in this country.

There are three kinds of people in any society: sheep, wolves, and sheep dogs. And let's face it -- most people are "sheep" whether they call themselves liberals or conservatives. Even right here on FR you can see plenty of so-called conservatives laying out arguments on current affairs in entirely political terms without any regard for a core set of principles to serve as the basis for those arguments.

The whole controversy about "critical race theory" is a perfect example of this. In all the cases I've seen where parents are arguing with school boards over the content of their local school curriculum, I have yet to see a single person complaining about CRT lay out the only argument that matters: It's not the curriculum that's the issue; public schools themselves have no place in a free nation.

From my profile page: Public schools should not exist. The notion that knowledge can ever be politicized has no place in a free nation of normal, civilized human beings.

You find me any evidence that even 5% of any group of people who agree with that statement. Those people are the "sheep dogs" in our society.

Meanwhile, we are pissing away our freedoms here in the U.S. — with far less resistance than a lot of us were demanding from the Afghans.

What's worse, we're funding this with our free trade deals with the communists, our TV subscriptions to the left's propaganda ministry so we can be entertained, our need to show off at Facebook, and our unwillingness to find alternatives to Amazon.

What's even worse is that the right is directly responsible for the first of these, and through apathy are partially responsible for the other three. And we're supposed to be the patriots.

Wow, there was even one CH 46 flying along behind those 47’s. Looking it up online, apparently the state department has some of those. Nice to see that old bird in the air, except of course for the circumstance. Hey, somebody remind me, I thought we were not going to see helicopters lifting off the embassy roof? I guess taking off from the embassy yard is totally different. /s

“The left are not Taliban. They are more like the Afgan’s we supported.”

BS! The left is wiping the floor with us. They’ve taken over all the institutions and we’ve let them do so without a whimper.

We’re worse than beaten dogs, at least they whimper.

I think the overwhelming majority of people that identify as right wingers would gladly go along with that.

I’m not sure I’d go along with the sheep analogy. I think of us more as angry dogs without a pack leader. What we’re missing is fearless leaders (Trump is the closest) who can coalesce this 70 million pack of seething dogs and unleash them in unison against those trampling on our interests.

The US has not manged to win a war since WWII (simply because our leaders never intend to win).

That was more like a “police action” then a war, but I will move it over to the win side. :-)
